Homeschool Drop-Off: Herp Heroes | Withlacoochee River Park

Herp Heroes!

Answer the call of wild Florida and immerse yourself in the exploration of Florida’s native herp heroes! In this drop-off homeschool class, students will work together to discover the secret identities of our native reptiles and amphibians. We will trek through wetlands, learn the differences between animal classes, and identify what makes Florida’s herp heroes so magnificent!

Date: Friday, March 27th, 2026
Location: Withlacoochee River Park (Pavilion #2)
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Ages: 7-12 years old
Cost: $20.00 per child

Please send your child with lunch, snacks, water, and close-toed shoes. It is recommended that they be sent with bug spray, and sunscreen.

Drop-off will be from 8:45am-9:00am and pick-up will be from 12:45pm-1:00pm.

All participants must register.
Program subject to changes and cancellation. Notice will be sent out in the event of cancellation.
