Our Story
What's New Pasco was founded by Jorge and Jessica Segarra, a husband-and-wife team raising their three kids right here in Pasco County.
With Pasco growing as fast as it is, there's always something new and exciting popping up. But for years, we kept finding out about events, restaurant openings, and local happenings last minute (or after the fact). There had to be a better way to keep up with everything going on around us. So we built it!
What's New Pasco is the resource we always wished we had! One easy place to find out what's happening around town, what just opened, and what's worth checking out this weekend.

Meet The Team
Jorge Segarra — Co-Founder
Jorge grew up in Tampa, where he attended Tampa Catholic before heading to Syracuse University to study Information Management and Technology. He spent years working as a consultant for Microsoft before stepping away from corporate life in 2021 to be more present with his family.
Jessica Segarra — Co-Founder
Originally from Texas, Jessica has lived in Pasco county for the past 20+ years. She has been creating content online since 2008 on her recipe website The Novice Chef. She brings many years of experience in content creation, digital media, and a deep love for the local food scene to What's New Pasco.
